The unlikely pairing of Lil Nas X and Country Music legend, Billy Ray Cyrus, has been fun to watch and has audiences of young and old trying out their best southern drawl. As a token of appreciation for his support and celebration of the song’s success, Lil Nas X gifted Billy Ray with a red Maserati GranTurismo Convertible.
What started off as a play on words in Billy Ray’s verse, “Ridin’ down Rodeo in my Maserati sports car,” has now become a reality. It’s been reported that Lil Nas X surprised Billy Ray with the car by having it delivered to his home via the Postmates delivery service. This has been an exciting time for the viral sensation Lil Nas X, and the momentum doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
