Pharrell Williams and his digital auction house are introducing a new collection honoring designer Kim Jones.
Williams’ platform, JOOPITER, is celebrating Jones’ artistry after he recently stepped down as creative director of Dior Men. Titled “The World of Kim Jones,” the collection features one-of-a-kind samples and prototypes from Jones’ illustrious career. From Louis Vuitton to Fendi and Dior, the auction includes never-before-seen archives from some of his most iconic collaborations. One of the standout pieces is from the Dior and AMOAKO BOAFO partnership. The One-Of-A-Kind Cashmere Blanket is estimated to fetch between $2,000 and $3,000.
Collectors will also have the chance to bid on the Dior x Nike Air Jordan 1 High Sneaker, which is expected to bring in upward of $20,000. Other iconic pieces include the Dior x Travis Scott Tan Leather Double Saddle Bag, the Dior x Kenny Scharf One-Of-A-Kind Runway Embroidered Shirt, and the Louis Vuitton x Supreme Monogram Carpet, which could make $9,000.
The auction runs online from February 27th to March 11th, with the full catalog available for preview on February 26th. A portion of the proceeds will support the World Land Trust (WLT), an international conservation charity focused on protecting endangered habitats.
Jones left Dior in January 2025 after seven years as Dior Men’s artistic director. The British designer’s final collection was displayed at Paris Fashion Week Men’s A/W 2025. Before his tenure with Dior, Jones served as the artistic director of men’s ready-to-wear at Louis Vuitton from 2011 to 2018.
