Kylie Jenner is well on her way to becoming a billion-dollar business mogul by the age of 25.
The youngest sibling of the Kardashian/Jenner Klan has definitely made a name for herself. Despite the fact that the spotlight makes her uneasy, she has successfully used the fame and fortune to her advantage in creating a fast-growing lucrative beauty brand, Kylie Cosmetics.
In just 18 months, the brand has reeled in a whopping $420 million, setting the pace to top other competitive brands in the industry. In comparison, according to WWD, it took Tom Ford Beauty nearly 10 years to cross the $500 million threshold. While, L’Oréal Lancôme didn’t hit the billion-dollar mark until 2015, after 80 years as a brand. However, Jenner’s brand is on pace to become a billion-dollar business by 2022.
“I do want stores, my own store,” Kylie told WWD. “I think it’s time people walk into a store and see Kylie Cosmetics.”
However, Kylie is not stopping with just lip kits and shadows. The 20-year-old entrepreneur is looking to break out into concealers and foundations, eager to create an array of shades for all skin tones. But, all in all, she just wants to keep getting bigger.
“I want to keep building it and just show people what I can do on my own.”
