“So, just a lil background on 19 Keys. Where are you from?” asked OCT.
“I’m from Oakland, California,” said 19 Keys. “I was born in St. Louis but left when I was two.”
“So you’re in the nation?” asked OCT
“Yes, I was born into it,” said 19 Keys.
“Where did the name 19 Keys come from? Did the nation inspire it?” asked OCT.
“It was partly influenced,” said 19 Keys.
“Did you always see yourself in this space growing up?” asked OCT.
“I was always taught that the right idea with the right time equals success,” said 19 Keys.
“What do you think it is about you that is drawing people in to hear you?” asked Su Solo.
“I think I just show up as myself. What you see is what you get,” said 19 Keys. “A lot of people try to be on this uniform, and they try to be this reputation, and people know when they’re being sold something.”
Ferrari wanted to know how 19 Keys remained strong by not getting into the streets.
“I had a few cases growing up. I did get into the streets following my big brother,” said 19 Keys.
“We’re going to Paradigm Keys now,” said OCT.
“Basically, I wanted to give a starting point for frequently asked questions. It’s a very quick read and practical guide for someone to get started and start thinking differently,” said 19 Keys.
“Can you give us 5 things that we can change?” asked OCT.
“Number one, focusing on habits is key. You can not have slim goals with fat habits or rich goals with broke habits. Change your attitude and thought processes,” said 19 Keys.
“You have a lot of women fans, I’m sure you know that. Are you married? Are you in a relationship?” asked the cast.
“It’s complicated,” said 19 Keys.
He also shared that he wants to find a Muslim woman.
19 Keys shared that his tour kicks off in Harlem, New York.
“I really only want the people that appreciate it. Id rather sit in that theatre with five people,” said 19 Keys.
