The Baller Alert Show, featuring your lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns, with Ferrari Simmons and Su Solo, kicked off its 65th episode with a recap of the hottest topics and current events from the previous week.
In case you missed it, the hosts opened up about the impact Nipsey Hussle has left on the black community in his death, highlighting the special vigils and memorials they’ve held or attended in the rapper’s honor. They also shared the impact Hussle’s death left on them individually, from inspiration to action.
“If we left with anything from this week and this brother’s loss is compassion for your people,” Burns said, adding that The Marathon Continues.
From there, the hosts divulged about the excellence that is Queen Bey, Beyonce. Netflix released the trailer for its new documentary, “Homecoming,” which showed the behind the scenes look into Beyonce’s iconic 2018 Coachella performance. It also featured surprise pictures of Beyonce and Jay-Z’s twins, Rumi and Sir Carter.
As the episode continued, the hosts defined clout chaser and opened up about the negative impact of social media and clout chasing.
“At the end of the day, if you not making no money with the person or you don’t actually know the person. It ain’t a celebration cause at some point you’re gonna get called on your actions,” Burns said. “Those are the same people holding up a bottle of $4.99 Andre Champagne as if they’re doing something with it,” Su added.

Next, the hosts address Kodak Black’s disrespectful comments toward Lauren London, and how we, as a culture, can no longer allow ‘goofies’ to have a platform to spew their ignorance. “We, the controllers of culture, no more excuses or excusing you, as well,” Burns said. “There’s no more. You’re over. Your body of work is so disrespectful to culture. To our women, to our fallen solider, clearly. You’ve said things about the LGBTQ that they’re not with. My point is, you’re ignorant to the point of no fixing.”
“We got to get rid of some of these people in a way that’s not violent,” Burns said. “But until you get your game right, you can’t have no more plays on the radio. If you were smart, you think about the powers that be and think about why they’re allowing you to be a coon.”
