The Baller Alert Show – Ep 85 Recap: The Culture, Summer Walker and More

The Baller Alert Show, featuring your lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns, with Ferrari Simmons and Su Solo, kicked off its 85th episode with a recap of the hottest topics and current events from the previous week.

To kick off the episode, the hosts reflected on Burns’ star-studded birthday party, which took place in Atlanta with a slew of special guests. The three also touched on the re-release of the Popeyes chicken sandwich ahead of the weekly recap segment.

Next, in case you missed it, the three sent their prayers to Angie Martinez in the wake of her severe car accident, and then jumped right into the mid-season finale of ‘Power.’

As the segment continued, Burns circled back to Kanye West’s most recent press tour, during which he proclaimed Black people are “cultureless.” Although the rapper had been catching heat for the comment, Su said she had no problem with what he said, as she described culture as her heritage or tradition. In fact, the hosts collectively agreed with West’s statement, to a certain extent.

Elsewhere, the hosts also discussed Solange’s split from her husband, Uber’s flying taxis, and robots with guns.

In the next segment, Rari shared this week’s Baller Mail, just before Su Solo read this week’s comment creepin, which featured Summer Walker’s announcement about her disdain for the music industry and fame.

Finally, before the episode ended, Burns shared a few words of wisdom with Kenfucious says. Check out the full episode below:
