The Baller Alert Show – Episode 54 Recap

The Baller Alert Show, featuring your lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns, with Ferrari Simmons and Su Solo, kicked off its 54th episode with a recap of the hottest topics and current events from the previous week.

In case you missed it, the hosts revisited the King of R&B conversation and Jacquees’ claim to be the R&B king for ages, 16-25. Do you agree? Maybe 16-20, but who’s keeping track? 

As the segment continued, the hosts opened up about Offset’s public apology to Cardi B at the Rolling Loud festival, in which she was the first female headliner ever. The apology came just days after Cardi took to Instagram to announce the couple’s split after allegations of infidelities on Offset’s part. 

However, in an attempt to right his wrongs, Offset crashed his wife’s historical performance with flowers and his sincerest apologies. But, despite the effort, Cardi felt the gesture was wildly inappropriate. While Burns believed it was cool for Offset to try to get his wife back, Simmons said he should have waited a little while longer for the grand gesture. On the other hand, Su said it should have been done on a different stage altogether, despite Cardi’s publicist’s backing. 

From there, the hosts discussed the new same-sex wedding set, Pete Davidson’s refusal to see Ariana Grande after his suicidal post, and the racist tagging of Meek Mill’s grandmother’s apartment in Philly. 

Next, Simmons shared this week’s Baller Mail, which focused on the problem of posting your opinion online, before Su shared the Comment Creepin. 

Then, to wrap the episode, Kenfucious left with a few words of wisdom.
