The Baller Alert Show, featuring your lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns, with Ferrari Simmons and Su Solo, kicked off its 67th episode with a recap of the hottest topics and current events from the previous week.
In case you missed it, the hosts recapped their 4/20 festivities and opened up about the rise of marijuana and its lucrative business. They also discussed Kodak Black’s recent arrest, in which he was picked up for possession of drugs and guns.
Apparently, Black said he got turned around because of his GPS, which led him into Canada, and upon his return, he was arrested by border patrol. But, what Burns can’t understand is how was he released as a felon?
From there, the hosts discussed the disrespect and entitlement displayed after Howard University students asked D.C. residents to respect their private campus. After students complained about new gentrifying residents using their campus as a dog park, residents suggested they move, which in turn, sparked widespread criticisms and conversation about privilege.
After that, the hosts also discussed Robyn Crawford’s decision to release a tell-all, called “A Song For You: My Life With Whitney Houston.” After the closest people revealed their truths, including Houston’s ex-husband, Bobby Brown, the only person left to share their story was Houston’s best friend and alleged love, Crawford. But, that all changes upon the release of Crawford’s highly anticipated book.
As the segment continued, the hosts discussed Coachella, Quality Control, Eminem’s sobriety and Kim Kardashian’s thoughts on the college admissions scandal.
In the next segment, Rari shared this week’s baller mail, which focused on the question, “I have moved on from my ex, but family keeps him around. What should I do?” From there, Su shared this week’s comment creeping, which featured 50 Cent, before Kenny Burns ended the episode with words of wisdom.
