The Baller Alert Show, featuring your lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns, with Ferrari Simmons and Su Solo, kicked off its 68th episode with a recap of the hottest topics and current events from the previous week.
In case you missed it, the hosts discussed 50 Cent’s latest social media beef with ‘Power’ executive producer Randall Emmett, which earned him the new title of the “GOAT of Internet Torture.”
Over the weekend, the rapper, businessman and entrepreneur released text messages between himself and Emmett, demanding payment on a $1 million loan. As Emmett pleaded for time and sympathy, 50 called out Emmett and his fiancee for spending large amounts of money while in debt to 50.
The “Internet torture” continued for a few days, until Emmett made good on his loan. But, even then, the rapper took to social media to post a final message to mark the end of the beef. All is well that ends well, amiiright.
As the segment continued, the host touched on Jay-Z’s show at the reopening of Webster Hall, where he unleashed a powerful freestyle about Nipsey Hussle, settled his beef with Cam’ron and performed with Dipset and Nas. The hosts also touched on Offset’s meeting with his dad after 23 years, clout chasing in Connecticut, Chris Rock’s joke about Whitney Houston and Pharrell’s iconic “Something In The Water” festival.
From there, the hosts discussed Rari’s baller mail, which focused on the question, “I’ve been sneaking around with my ex since I no longer feel anything for my husband, what should I do.” After that, Su shared this week’s comment creepin, which featured Masika Kalysha, who fired back at claims of skin bleaching.
In the end, Kenfucious’ shared a few words of wisdom, saying, “Maybe what you’ve been chasing all this time isn’t meant to be.”
“If you haven’t been making money or progress in that field, it’s time to move on,” Burns said.
