The Baller Alert Show, featuring your lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns, with Ferrari Simmons and Su Solo, kicked off its 69th episode with a recap of the hottest topics and current events from the previous week.
In case you missed it, the hosts opened the show with birthday shoutouts to Meek Mill and Chris Brown, who recently celebrated their 32nd and 30th birthdays, respectively. As the conversation continued, the hosts spoke on Brown’s impact in the industry, with Burns likening his longstanding discography and catalog to Michael Jackson.
From there, the hosts discussed Facebook’s recent ban on far-right leaders, including Minister Farrakhan, accusing the leaders of “dangerous” rhetoric. Although Farrakhan had been previously known for “white bashing,” Burns revealed that Farrakhan’s message and mission has since shifted to educating and arming our community with facts. “So, why would they ban him,” Burns asked, as Rari responded, “and the people that work for Facebook are….”
As the segment continued, the hosts congratulated the three black women who were crowned for three of the biggest beauty pageants in this country. Now, for the first time ever, three black women are reigning Miss USA, Miss Teen USA, and Miss America! Congratulations to Cheslie Kryst, Kaliegh Garris and Nia Franklin.
The hosts also touched on the Clermont twins, Raz-B and Marjorie Harvey’s ex-husband’s forthcoming tell-all before Rari read this week’s Baller Mail.
The Baller Mail segment initiated the conversation about the most recent viral post about a man who impregnated twins. And apparently, it’s not THAT uncommon. *blank stare*
After that, Su shared this week’s comment creepin, in which Cyn Santana opened up about about her break up with Joe Budden.
In the end, Burns provided a few words of wisdom, saying, “The Truth is the only option, you’re prolonging the inevitable by lying.”
