The Baller Alert Show, featuring your lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns, with Ferrari Simmons and Su Solo, kicked off its 70th episode with a recap of the hottest topics and current events from the previous week.
In case you missed it, the hosts reflected on their Mother’s Day celebrations and showed love to all the Mothers and mother-figures in honor of the holiday. As they continued, the host highlighted Rihanna, who recently made history as the first woman and woman of color to launch her own fashion brand at LVMH.
That Rihanna reign just won’t let up.
But, in speaking of Rihanna’s fashion history, the hosts also showed love to the Spicy Mami, Cardi B, who recently topped a million in 24 hours with her brand new Fashion Nova collection. Elsewhere in the episode, the hosts touched on Chris Darden’s decision to quit Eric Holder’s case, Kodak Black’s recent arrest, Rolling Loud the NBA Playoffs and more.
In the next segment, Rari shared this week’s Baller Mail, which questioned whether or not a woman should believe her best friend, who claimed she had not slept with her boyfriend after he told her it happened. Sounds confusing, right? Basically, homegirl wants to know what to do after her boyfriend slept with her best friend, what would you suggest Baller Nation?
Su Solo’s comment creeping featured Michael Rapoport’s comment about Maverick Carter, who is the business man behind LeBron James’ billion-dollar deals. In the comment, Uninterrupted’s Jimmy Spencer called Rapoport out for trying to work with the company, and LeBron followed up with laughing emojis.
Upon posting the comment creeping on Baller Alert, many called out Rapoport for constantly disparaging the black community under the guise of being down, thanks to his few roles in Spike Lee classics. What are your thoughts?
