The Baller Alert Show, featuring your lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns, with Ferrari Simmons and Su Solo, kicked off its 76th episode with a recap of the hottest topics and current events from the previous week.
Just before the first segment, the hosts shared the highlights of their weekend, which consisted of hostings, parties, and more. However, amid the discussion, Burns opened up about his recent appearance, alongside Rick Ross and Pusha T, which quickly sparked a conversation about proper DJ etiquette and new music.
“This is a message to the DJs too- when you have an opportunity to salute somebody,” Burns said, as he tried to explain his frustration with the DJ set – which failed to feature hits like, ‘B.M.F,’ ’Grindin,’ and ‘What Happened to That Boy.’ However, before he completed his thought – he promised to revisit the topic. “I want to have a real conversation about today’s music. I think in the club if you can’t go to a crescendo – playing everything- I don’t know if it’s really an experience.”
In case you missed it, the hosts then congratulated Kendrick Lamar and his wife on their first born, and highlighted the rapper’s privacy. Next, the three praised Mary J. Blige for her forthcoming role in a ‘Power’ spinoff,’ before they touched on the show’s Emmy snub.
They then touched on Nicole Murphy’s drama, which included a kiss with a married man and dredged up drama about her past flings. Afterwards, the three attempted to dissect the Kardashian drama, in the wake of the Jordyn Woods scandal. In fact, the hosts highlighted Woods’ catapult to mainstream success in the wake of the drama.
Next, the hosts touched on politics before Rari shared this week’s Baller Mail, which questioned whether a woman should continue to be the other woman with her man. Solo then shared this week’s comment creepin, which featured a rude comment from Jess Hilarious about Lizzo.
Although Solo didn’t believe anything was wrong with the joke, many in Baller Nation thought the comment was completely unnecessary.
In the end, Burns shared a few words of wisdom with Kenfucious says.
