The Baller Alert Show, featuring your lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns, with Ferrari Simmons and Su Solo, kicked off its 78th episode with a recap of the hottest topics and current events from the previous week.

In case you missed it, the hosts discussed the controversial partnership between Jay-Z and the NFL, the beef between YFN Lucci and Young Thug and much more. 

To kick off the episode, the three addressed criticisms and concerns about the NFL deal, in the wake of push back from Colin Kaepernick’s close friends and girlfriend. In a series of tweets, Nessa scoffed at the fact that discussions for the deal reportedly began in January, while Panthers’ Eric Reid encouraged fans to pay attention to the timing of the rapper’s partnership with the league, which, in turn, drew lines in the sand between the opposing parties. 

While many agreed with Nessa and Reid, others, including Kenny Burns, felt inclined to give Hov the benefit of doubt, due to his history in social justice reform. Which side are you on?

As the episode continued, Rari shared this week’s Baller Mail, and Su read this week’s comment creepin, which led to an open discussion about the beef between YFN Lucci and Young Thug.
