“Getting ready for this tour,” said Jacquees.
“That’s where the money come in right?” asked OCT.
“When did you start taking music seriously?” asked Ferrari.
“I’ve been singing since I was 9,” said Jacquees. “Once I found out who Michael Jackson was I started mimicking him.”
“What has the grind taught you this far?” asked OCT.
“It taught me a lot. I was a 13-year-old kid with grown men. Big shout out to my mom for always being there and being in my corner,” said Jacquees.
“Did you ever sign with Cash Money?” asked Ferrari.
“I’m still with Cash Money,” said Jacquees.
Jacquees talked about almost signing to Chris Brown.
“Bro was the first to put me on a jet. He had his own stuff going on. I don’t think he wanted to be selfish,” said Jacquees.
“When you first started making serious money, was people calling you?” asked Ferrari.
“I won’t even answer my phone,” said Jacquees.
Jacquees also shared his love and appreciation for Katt Williams.
“What does FYB the label mean?” asked Ferrari.
“Forever Your Brother,” said Jacquees.
“Do you have a project coming out,” asked Ferrari.
“I have an album that I’m working on. Hopefully I can give y’all some singles by the end of the year,” said Jacquees.
