If summer had a signature drink this might be it.
Casamigos just dropped a margarita that is fresh, smooth, and made for rooftop hangs, weekend kickbacks, and everywhere in between. And if you are lucky enough to be in New York on May 17 you can try it before anyone else.
The Casamigos Margarita will make its official splash at the Family Style Food Festival happening for the first time ever in NYC at Industry City in Brooklyn. The tequila brand is teaming up with Jonny’s Pizza for a “Margs and Margs” collab that brings together their signature margarita with an iconic Margherita slice.
The drink is made with 1.5 oz Casamigos Reposado or Blanco, .75 oz fresh lime juice, .5 oz fresh orange juice, .25 oz agave nectar, and finished with an optional rim of salt, sugar, and orange zest. Top it with a lime wheel and you have a cocktail that feels custom without being complicated. Shake it, pour it over ice, garnish, and sip.
