This year’s edition, titled “The Reunion,” is the third installment of the revived OBC series and is set to take place at various dynamic locations across South Florida. The highlight of the festivities will be an exhilarating match between the Florida A&M University Rattlers and the Jackson State University Tigers at the iconic Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
Running from Tuesday, August 29th to Sunday, September 3rd, the OBC extravaganza promises an exciting range of activities. The goal is to create an immersive experience that brings together students, alumni, and supporters from all over the country for a weekend filled with unity, celebration, and sportsmanship.

- Allstate Career & Recruitment Fair (August 29th): This event at Florida Memorial University from 11 AM to 1 PM is the place to be for students and job seekers looking to explore opportunities that set the stage for future success.
- OBC Golf Tournament with Celebrity Golf Ambassador Uncle Luke (August 31st): At 8 AM, join in the golfing fun for a cause that supports aspiring HBCU students. Tee off and make a difference!
- GMCVB Commissioner’s Welcome Reception and Luncheon (September 2nd): Set at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry from 11 AM to 2 PM, this event is all about honoring distinguished HBCU alumni in fields like Sports, Politics, and Entertainment. Grammy-nominated artist Stokley and Emmy Award winner Lynn Whitfield will also make appearances.
- The Stompdown (September 2nd): Brace yourself for the nation’s largest touring step show competition at the Charles F. Dodge Center at 7:30 PM. Watch youth and Greek Fraternity/Sorority step teams bring their A-game!
- HBCU Mixer Denim Party Part 2 (September 2nd): Get ready to groove at the Gulfstream Park’s Sport of Kings Room from 9 PM. DJ Boweezy, DJ Tight, and DJ Nasty305 will keep the beats going strong.
- OBC Parade (September 2nd): Starting at 9 AM from Miami Carol City Senior High School, this parade showcases the camaraderie of high school bands, social groups, and dance squads, ending at the Betty T. Ferguson Center.
- HBCU Reunion on the Yard Presented by Celsius (September 2nd): From 11 AM to 2 PM at the Betty T. Ferguson Recreation Center, enjoy a family fun day with live performances, music, food trucks, and more.
- Battle of the Bands (September 3rd): At the Watsco Center from 6 PM to 9 PM, witness the thrilling clash of local high school marching bands, including the renowned Florida A&M “Marching 100” and the incomparable Jackson State “Sonic Boom of the South.”
- Welcome to the OBC Weekend “Pre-Game” Greek Mixer (September 2nd): The Gulfstream Park’s Sport of Kings Room hosts a Greek Mixer at 9 PM, featuring DJ Boweezy, DJ Tight, and DJ Nasty305.
- Gameday Fan Fest (September 3rd): Starting at 9 AM at the Hard Rock Stadium’s South Fountain Plaza, this tailgate party captures the spirit of HBCU tradition with entertainment, food trucks, and team pep rallies.
- Denny’s Orange Blossom Classic Football Game (September 3rd): At 3 PM, the epic showdown between the Florida A&M University Rattlers and the Jackson State University Tigerswill unfold at the Hard Rock Stadium, promising an incredible display of talent and passion.
