Beyoncé’s “Homecoming” was nominated for six Emmy Awards, but lost in all categories and fans were furious as they reacted on Twitter.
Mrs. Carter was nominated in the variety special (pre-recorded) category for the concert film but lost to James Corden’s hit talk show segment “Carpool Karaoke: When Corden Met McCartney Live From Liverpool.”
The critically acclaimed Netflix documentary also received nods in five other categories – outstanding costumes for variety, non-fiction or reality programming, outstanding directing for a variety special, outstanding music direction, outstanding production design for a variety special and outstanding writing for a variety special, but was shut out in all categories.
