Congratulations to rapper The Game, who recently revealed he’s expecting another child!
The California native shared the news during an interview on the Tacos & Shawarma podcast, where he discussed a range of topics, including his current lawsuit, relationships, and parenting. When the show’s host, Elle, mentioned a rumor that The Game was expecting twins, he quickly set the record straight, confirming that he has just one child on the way.
“I’m expecting one,” The Game clarified. “One child.”
Reflecting on the new addition to his family, The Game expressed curiosity about experiencing parenthood at this stage in his life. “I’m 44, so when my new child is 21, I’ll be 65. That seems kind of old until you start thinking about who’s 65 now. I don’t know how old Mariah Carey is, but she has to be about 10 years older than me. Or Jay-Z—they’re getting close to 60, and they still look young and cool,” he said.
He continued, “It’s not that bad, but it’s a new life. It’s going to be a different parenting experience compared to when I was younger. Back then, I was still hard-headed and in the streets. I don’t even know how I made it this far with the things I was doing. But I made it, my kids are all fine, smart, straight-A students. It’ll just be interesting to parent at this age.”
The Game is already a father to California “Cali” Dream, 13, and sons King Justice, 17, and Harlem Caron, 21, who he often showcases proudly. In June, he shared a heartfelt message on Instagram to celebrate his daughter’s 8th-grade graduation. “The most incredible love I’ve ever known. @calilynndreamtaylor being your father is the greatest part of my life,” he wrote. “You are my entire heart, and I am elated and more than proud to be your best friend and Dad.”
The Game’s announcement has fueled speculation that he may be the father of Shaniece Hairston’s unborn child. Hairston, the daughter of ‘Basketball Wives’ star Evelyn Lozada, announced her pregnancy on Father’s Day. While The Game hasn’t confirmed or denied these rumors, the timeline has led to further speculation, especially after the two were spotted leaving Nobu in Malibu together on Christmas Eve.
“Another trip around the sun and in my prayers birthday suit yet,” Hairston wrote on Instagram. “Oh, and Happy Father’s Day daddy.” The rumors remain unconfirmed, but fans continue to speculate about the possible connection.
