The Joker is a new dad.
In the latest issue of his DC spinoff comic book series, Batman’s archenemy becomes pregnant and gives birth.
“The Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing #4,” tells the story entitled “Knocked Upside Down” of how the Joker became a father. The story opens up with the famed villain telling Zatanna that they would make a great couple. Of course, she’s unfazed by his flirtation and casts one of her signature backward spells on him.
Today, DC released a comic in which the Joker becomes pregnant and gives birth to a mud monster who transforms into a child-version of himself who he adopts as his son.

The Joker wakes up the following morning with a pregnant belly. He later visits the OB-GYN and is ready to give birth. To the villain’s surprise, he instead vomits a large blob of mud that transforms into a miniature version of himself.
The story ends with the Joker bringing the child to Zatanna and telling her about their “handsome” son.
This is not the first time DC mentioned the Joker’s fatherhood. In the “Injustice: Gods Among Us” comic, Harley Quinn reveals she gave birth to a baby girl who happens to be the Joker’s child as well. However, Quinn gave her daughter up for adoption to keep her from growing up with the Joker as her father.
