This week just keeps on getting better. If you are a sneakerhead, then you probably knew that Drake had a partnership with Jordan Brand (think Back to January’s announcement). If you are a Drake fan, then you probably knew he had his own clothing collective, OVO (October’s Very Own). What you will probably be shocked to know is that the Jordan Brand in conjunction with Drake released the Air Jordan 10 OVO without warning at a West Coast pop up shop in Los Angeles. (Smart move: it limits the chaos and builds anticipation for future releases). Fetching $225, the limited shoe delivers opulence in every detail. Featuring stingray leather throughout the shoe (upper shoe and mudguard), the contrast of scotch grain leather on the tongue is a great detail. The graceful placement of gold accents ( The OVO owl in the insole and the Jumpman logo at the back ) add simple luxury. The OVO 10 was released in two color ways, white and black. [Deep sigh: I wanted to be running through the H with my 10’s . I should have taken that trip to LA this week *tears*]
And what’s a dope pair of kicks without a fire shirt? The OVO Brand rolled out their new T-shirt design for the play offs. It’s the perfect compliment for the OVO 10’s. When will it be available? That is still in the air.
