I don’t know about you guys but I’m thrilled. Then again, I’m not much of a Lakers fan though. Do you want to know what Chris Paul’s reaction was after hearing the news that he won’t be boarding the next plane to Los Angeles?
That’s right. It seems NBA Commissioner David Stern has nearly killed all dreams of CP3 heading over to LA. But why you ask? According to Yahoo Sports, many owners pushed to nullify the deal after complaining about the league-owned Hornets dealing their All-Star point guard to the Lakers. To break it down, something in the milk didn’t seem clean and they want to take a closer look at it. So where will Chris Paul go, if anywhere at all? The Knicks can’t afford him now that they’ve picked up Dallas’ Tyson Chandler. Looks like Paul may have to stay in New Orleans a little while longer although word is that the Celtics are interested in the young PG.
According to Chris Broussard of Sports Center Chris Paul is fuming and exploring legal options with NBPA director Billy Hunter to fight blocked deal. This just got GOOD!
