Here’s probably the best thing that could come out of this entire tragedy. Zoey, the 3 month old daughter of Belcher and Perkins, is listed as the beneficiary of a collective bargaining agreement signed last year. The league will support her until she’s at least 18, 23 if she attends college.
Zoey’s guardian or her estate will receive $108,000 a year. When she is 5, she will receive $48,000, then $52,000 a year until she is 18 or 23, depending on if she goes to college.
