A story most of us remember from over twenty years ago has resurfaced in the form of an addicting TV drama brought to us by FX. American Crime Story: The People vs. OJ Simpson follows the murder trial of OJ, based on “The Run of His Life” by Jeffrey Toobin. The series provides insight into all parties involved with the case; from OJ, himself, to Defense Attorney Johnnie Cochran and prosecutor Christopher Darden.
Brown, who plays Christopher Darden, visited E! News to discuss his life after The People v. OJ Simpson.
“People don’t always recognize me –But, every once in a while they’ll see me and say ‘Darden! Darden!’ — And they give me a thumbs up” Brown tells E!. He then goes on to explain his disappointment, not being able to speak with ‘the real Darden’ regarding his role. Finally, to close the interview, Brown gives his opinion on OJ’s innocence or lack there of.
“With all the evidence that I saw, man. And the evidence leading to [one] person, it’s hard for me to say that he didn’t do it. Whether or not he had an accomplice its hard to say. But, I do think that he’s guilty of a double homicide.”
Who knew that twenty years and a not guilty verdict later, we would still be wondering whether or not ‘The Juice,’ killed his ex-wife. I don’t know if I have an opinion on the case. But, I will tune in tonight at 10pm.
Do you think he did it? Who will be watching?
