The Pope Warns Against The Consumption Of Porn; Says It’s ‘A Vice That So Many People Have, Even Priests And Nuns’

The Pope says priests and nuns watch porn too, but he’s urging them not to, saying it “weakens the priestly heart.”

During a session at the Vatican, the Pope spoke on the issue of priests and nuns consuming porn. “The devil enters from there,” said the Pope, mentioning that it’s ” a vice that so many people have… even priests and nuns.”

“And I’m not just talking about criminal pornography like that involving the abuse of children, that is already degeneration. But pornography that is a little ‘normal.’ Dear brothers, be careful about this,” he went on.

He also told his followers that they shouldn’t spend too much time on social media. “The pure heart, the one that Jesus receives every day, cannot receive this pornographic information,” he went on. He said it’s best to “delete [porn] from your phone, so you will not have temptation in hand.”

He added that watching porn goes against their promise to chastity, BBC reports.
