Toya Wright & MempHitZ Open Up About Their Separation (Video and Interview Highlights) – blogged by @niksofly

When most women say “I do”, they are looking towards a lifetime commitment filled with the marital bliss that fairy tales are made from.  Women are well aware that there will be some hiccups along the way, but at no point does any woman want to hear the words separation.  It’s a tumultuous situation to live through in the privacy of one’s own home, but it is even more stressful when the unforgiving eyes of social media  decide to weigh in on the situation. The theories for Toya and Memphitz’ recent separation are widely spread, but the bottom line is that they are indeed separated . The couple spoke with separate media outlets regarding their situation.

Toya recently opened up with Necole Bitchie. She discussed social media and  its adverse effect on their marital problems as well as her dissatisfaction with Memphitz feuding with K. Michelle.  Mrs. Wright even gave marital advice for women fighting for their marriage in conjunction with her thoughts on the role of the side chick in today’s generation.  The intimate interview also  visited why Toya decided not to join in on the debauchery that is reality TV, Reginae loving her stepfather and how the portrait worthy couple met.

Sister2Sister’s publisher, Jamie Foster Brown, sat down with the man of the hour, Memphitz. In the video interview, Memphitz spoke on the choosing his wife over his career and “suing his career away”  when he filed suit against K.Michelle. Memphitz shared his journey to success along with his hope to get his career back on track. He adamantly proclaimed his love for his wife as he expounded upon the turmoil endured when he chose to make the former Ms. Carter, Mrs. Wright. To finally hear a piece of his side was interesting.

Whether you are a fan of the couple or not, we can agree it’s a tough situation for the Wrights right now. I hope it all works out for the better!
