The woman who was slapped by DaBaby, in a clip that has now gone viral, claims that the rapper is not really sorry for hitting her.
According to TMZ, Tyronesha Laws believes the rapper’s apology is empty and claims the proof is on his social media page. Laws said the “Bop” rapper posted a comedic skit, making light of the brutal slap.
“He’s still makes a joke about it. Like yesterday, he uploaded something on his page in a clothing store making a joke about it, so I don’t feel like he was sincere about it,” she said.
The incident took place on Saturday night in Tampa, as the rapper was making his way through the party crowd to the stage. Tyronesha told TMZ, she wasn’t even the person who held the flash up to the rapper’s face.
“I was standing next to a young lady, and all of a sudden I turn around and I says to my boyfriend, ‘There goes DaBaby.’ So the young lady to the right of me pulled out her camera,” Laws said. She also claimed she wasn’t sure if the other woman actually hit the rapper with her phone, as claimed but claims when she was smacked she fell back on top of the woman and another person.
Laws said she’s embarrassed by the whole ordeal and claims that internet trolls are mocking her and making her and her daughter’s life- like a living hell. The woman has retained a lawyer claiming she was diagnosed with a contusion to her cheekbone.
