It’s clear this Spring is the season of babies, and some of our favs are debuting their baby bumps.
The month of March has been filled with announcements across social media, starting with Ayesha Curry on March 1st. The wife of Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry shared during an appearance on the Today Show that they were expecting baby number four, already parents to daughters Riley and Ryan and son Canon. Since then, several other famous mothers have dropped their big news online, attracting a wave of support from fans across the world.
Model Draya Michele revealed that she was expecting on March 8th in a touching International Women’s Day Instagram post. During that announcement, the former “Basketball Wives” star shared that she was having a girl. This came after weeks of speculation that she may be expecting after she was spotted wearing oversized overalls at a Houston Rockets game, where she was supporting rumored boyfriend, Jalen Green. Draya is also a mother of two sons, Kniko and Jru.
Influencer Deiondra Sanders, also the daughter of NFL star Deion Sanders, announced that she was expecting a baby on March 8th. In a lengthy Instagram post, she opened up about her past fertility issues, which included fibroids and developing breast tumors due to birth control usage. According to Sanders, she’d been told repeatedly that she would not be able to have children, so her child is undoubtedly a blessing.
Actress Vaness Hudgens, who was tapped as the official co-host of the Oscars 2024 pre-show on March 10, made a stunning entrance onto the Academy Awards red carpet, using the opportunity to debut her baby bump as she revealed her first pregnancy.
Rapper Kash Doll took to Instagram on March 14th to celebrate her 32nd birthday and also revealed that she was expecting her second child with her boyfriend, Tracy T. In the video, Kash playfully pours a glass of champagne before revealing that she cannot drink this year and shows a glimpse of her baby bump. The “For Everybody” star is already a mother to son Kashton.
Influencer Joie Chavis also shared that she was welcoming a new bundle of joy on the same day as Kash Doll. Chavis, an avid social media maven, shared a touching video with Maxwell’s “This Woman’s Work” playing as she held her growing stomach. This is baby number three for the dancer, who is a mother to daughter Shai and son Hendrix Wilburn.
Several other celebs also revealed baby bumps early this year.
Gabby Sidibe revealed on Instagram in late February that she and her husband, Brandon Frankel, are expecting twins. The couple reportedly met each other on a dating app and tied the knot in March 2021 in a private ceremony.
In January, Lionel Richie’s daughter Sofia Richie announced she was expecting her first child with husband Elliot Grainge after the pair married last year. The couple revealed to Vogue that they were having a baby girl.
