Girl Scout cookie enthusiasts, this is your last chance to enjoy two beloved flavors before they’re gone for good. The Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) has announced that S’mores and Toast-Yay! cookies will be discontinued after the 2025 cookie season. S’mores, introduced in 2017, and Toast-Yay!, which debuted in 2021, will soon be retired.
In a first, GSUSA has given advance notice of a cookie’s retirement to give customers an opportunity to stock up. Whether this move will lead to a resale frenzy like the one sparked by the discontinuation of Raspberry Rally in 2023 remains to be seen.
Both flavors will remain available throughout the 2025 season, while supplies last, and can be purchased at local cookie booths or online through the Girl Scout Cookie Finder. The 2025 cookie season officially begins January 7, offering a lineup that includes fan favorites like Thin Mints, Samoas, and Trefoils, as well as newer options such as Adventurefuls and Lemon-Ups.
The cookie season runs from January through April, depending on location, and supports local councils and troops while helping Girl Scouts develop life skills like leadership and entrepreneurship.
“Girl Scout Cookie season is about so much more than selling the iconic cookies people know and love,” said Wendy Lou, GSUSA Chief Revenue Officer. “The funds girls earn throughout the season directly power their journeys in leadership, entrepreneurship, and community building. The sweet success of each sale shows how much girls can achieve when they set their minds to it.”
