Xscape’s LaTocha Scott and her husband, Rocky Bivens, popped up on the Rickey Smiley Morning Show for an impromptu interview that turned quite heated.
According to the show’s website, Scott was at a nearby studio when she caught wind that she was being discussed. The show reported that she and Bivens stole money from her sister, Tamika Scott. Bivens mistress was also brought up.
She and Bivens decided to get on-air to give their two cents and ended up in a back-and-forth with Da Brat. Things got tense when Da Brat brought up their personal history. She alleged that anytime there was a disagreement, everyone took Scott’s side, and it appeared that Kandi Burruss was the one who was hurt by it.
“You said Kandi was ‘hurt and slighted?’” Scott asks. To which Da Brat clarifies, “Yes.” Scott asks for a specific incident, and the rapper says Burruss always seemed sad when they were on tour.
“I’m sorry to hear that,” Scott says of Burruss’ emotions. “I’m sorry she was sad.”
Da Brat further explains that Burruss brought it up on a previous reality show, but Scott denies knowing about it.
Things got heated between Bivens and Da Brat when she asked him about his alleged mistress and the $30,000 he supposedly stole from Tamika.
“Brat, you know me,” Bivens says at one point. “I know you’re quiet over there now, but you know me.”
“I know what about you?” Da Brat fires back. “I don’t know your personal life…I know you, but I don’t know you like that!”
Da Brat doubles down, denying knowing anything about Bivens’ personal life. Bivens backs down, saying he just meant they were both from Chicago.
Scott denies knowing anything about the stolen funds, prompting Da Brat to question her about the receipts her sister pulled showing Bivens signed her checks. She continues to deny knowing anything about the money.
Scott later apologized to Burruss in an Instagram Live video, claiming she had no idea what Burruss was feeling at the time.
“Kandi, I am sorry. I never wanted to do that,” she said. “I never knew you were sad. And I know what that sadness feels like.
