It looks like Florida is where the money resides. For the third time in a row this week, someone in South Florida took home $1 million. And this time, the winner is Juliana Pavon of Weston, Florida. According to CBS Miami, Pavon won the milli a from the $5,000,000 LUCK Scratch-Off game. The woman opted to take her money home in a lump-sum payment of $760,000.
The odds of winning off this specific lottery game are one-in-2.97, according to Local 8 News.
The ticket cost Pavon $20, and she bought it from the supermarket chain Publix. The store was located in Weston on Weston Road, the news outlet reports. The ticket was one of the $5,000,000 LUCK tickets; the lottery game launched in September 2019. It includes more than $329 million in cash prizes, and there are six top prizes of $5 million.
