At least three people are dead, and four others were injured in a shooting at a gathering in the upscale Beverly Crest neighborhood early Saturday morning.
The Los Angeles Police Department received multiple 911 calls around 2:30 a.m. for a shooting at a home north of Beverly Hills. The property was being used as a short-term rental property, and it is unclear if the gathering was a party.
The LAPD said in a news release that when officers arrived, they located three deceased people inside a car parked outside of the home.
Four other shooting victims were transported to local hospitals. Two of the victims are listed in critical condition, and two others are stable.
The LAPD did not release the ages or genders of the victims due to the ongoing investigation.
Sergeant Bruce Borihanh said during a news conference on Saturday afternoon that no arrests have been made, and police are working on identifying suspects.
The incident is under investigation, and police are “interviewing additional occupants of the house as well as neighbors and witnesses.”
Police are requesting that anyone with information about the shooting contact the LAPD’s Robbery Homicide Division.
