Three Florida teens face charges Tuesday after a pornographic video of one of them with a child circulated around a Florida Keys school.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s office was contacted in April by school officials after the Snapchat video surfaced. A 16-year-old boy’s phone was seized, and during the course of the investigation, two other male teens were identified, along with the 12-year-old female victim.
The 16-year-old boy in the video with the girl is charged with lewd and lascivious battery. Another 16-year-old boy who shared the video is facing multiple counts. He is charged with obscene communication by transmitting child pornography, cruelty toward a child by promoting a performance that included a sexual act by a child, and lewd and lascivious battery.
A third teen, a 14-year-old boy who filmed the video, is charged with cruelty toward a child by promoting a performance that included a sexual act by a child.
