Ticketmaster and LiveNation’s Concert Week has been turned upside down as the website quickly crashed as customers rushed to grab discounted tickets.
Concert Week, which consists of $25 event tickets, kicked off on May 8th, though most fans were unable to secure their ticket due to the website crashing. This has long been an issue with both websites, leading to frustrations among concert attendees. Many took to social media to share screenshots of the many error messages they’d received while trying to purchase various show passes.
Hey @LiveNation @Ticketmaster, word of advice. If you wanna keep your image of "yucky monopolistic corporation" alive, you should probably make sure your fucking servers work so you can scam people. pic.twitter.com/LQXY889fEE

While the slow start to Concert Week is disheartening, it’s certainly not the first time in recent months that the event giant has been criticized. Live Nation and Ticketmaster have been accused of violating antitrust laws. The joint agency has rolled out new measures to make their pricing more transparent, though issues remain.
