Tiffany Haddish was served with a lawsuit while hosting a comedy gig in Los Angeles last month.
On August 28th, Trizah Morris had Haddish served with a new suit during a hosting at the Laugh Factory on Sunset Blvd. She was leading the event, where upcoming comedians showcased their talents. Per RadarOnline, the comedian was served at the side entrance while hosting the showcase. In the latest court docs, Morris says Haddish and Aries Spears called her an “extortionist” who made fake claims against them for financial gain. If you recall, Morris and her children accused both comedians of grooming after featuring them in the “Through a Pedophile’s Eyes” video. Spears rubbed oil on the little boy’s back, who was seven at the time, during the taping. His sister, who was 14 then, accused Haddish of showing her how to perform oral sex using a sub sandwich. Morris was previously paid $15,000 from Spears as part of one lawsuit settlement, but she is not done with these two.
Multiple lawsuits have been filed in relation to the video. A previous lawsuit filed by the skit participants also accused Spears and Haddish of making them feel extremely uncomfortable. The daughter, listed as Jane Doe, eventually dropped her suit. Her brother did as well, though Morris is seeking an additional $1 million for her troubles.
Haddish has admitted that work has been scarce since “Through a Pedophile’s Eyes” skit surfaced online. Therefore, Haddish being served during a job certainly is not good for her recovering career. Neither she nor Spears has commented on the latest legal drama.
