Exclusive — TikTok Stars Mrs. Netta And Charles Open Up About Their Marriage: “It Was Something We Had Been Discussed Before” [Video]

This season, love is in the air, especially for Mrs. Netta and Charles!

Last week, the viral TikTok stars sat down with Baller Alert and spoke briefly about their relationship. According to the couple, they have been committed to one another for six years, and recently, Mrs. Netta and Charles have decided to take their relationship to the next level.

“Well, actually it was something we had been discussed before,” Netta began around the 6:20 mark. “Okay. And, uh, we just couldn’t sit on a proper date, you know, and it was like, uh, we was going out of town a lot and we was like okay can we, you know, about our sexuality and stuff, we just can’t just go and just do it anywhere.”

She continued, “We’re going to go ahead and get this done. And we got so much together. We own cars together. The house we own, we own that together. And that was a lot to deal with, too. Like, OK, if something happened to you, I had to fuss and fight with your family. And then if something happened to me, you got to fuss and fight with my family. So I said, well, we just go ahead and do this entire night. Then we secure it because whatever is his is mine and whatever is mine is his. So that was another issue and stuff too. But, you know, over all of that, we loved each other. We’ve been together for six years. So it wasn’t a doubt when he said it or when he wanted to do it that it wasn’t going to be happening. ”

In a different segment of the interview, Netta disclosed that Charles hadn’t gone through with a conventional proposal. However, this fact didn’t bother her as she wholeheartedly embraces him just the way he is.

“He wasn’t going to get on one knee because Charles ain’t the one knee type of person. If y’all see, y’all know. So… He might not show a lot of affection and stuff like that, but our conversations tell me a lot. He might not show it on the screen and stuff like that. he might not smile a lot. But when we’re together and we’re by ourselves or whatever the thing may be, it’s totally different.”

She added, “They be like, ‘Oh, Charles, you need to smile more. You need to act like you’re engaged.’ No, you don’t. That’s his way. So he can’t change it. So I’m not going to make him try to do something that he don’t want to do because that ain’t what I’m here for. I’m here to support him as well if he’s supposed to support me.”
