In light of the sudden coronavirus outbreak, TikTok has been providing some much-needed relief to many people who are participating in challenges and comedic skits to pass the time. Now, the social network is partnering with LiveXLive to present its “Music Lives” virtual 48-hour music festival, which will feature over 35 artists.
The festival will feature acts such as Trippie Redd, Nas, Swae Lee, and headliner, J Balvin. While the concert is completely free, viewers are still encouraged to donate to the Recording Academy MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund, which will provide financial support to people in the music industry who are affected by the pandemic.
The “One World: Together At Home” special broadcast, which was organized by the World Health Organization and Global Citizen, in collaboration with Lady Gaga, will also be part of the Music Lives schedule. “One World: Together At Home ” will be co-hosted by late-night talk show hosts Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, and Stephen Colbert and will feature Lizzo and Alanis Morisette, amongst others.
April 18th, fans can join the stream on the LiveXLive TikTok and online.
