A TikToker Claims Popular “Period Ahh, Period Uhh” Creator Britt Barbie Is Faking Disability [Video]

If you’ve been on social media the past couple of days, you’re probably familiar with the “period ahh, period uhh” trend.

The sound was created by a TikTok user who goes by Britt Barbie. People have since been remixing the trend since its went viral.

In some cases, celebrities such as Chloe Bailey, Bebe Rexha, and Baby Tate have given their own voice to the now famous catchphrase by duetting the song.

Although Britt Barbie’s fanbase has grown significantly since the popular video, some people are saying the TikTok star is possibly faking a disability she doesn’t have.

On Tuesday, a Tiktoker explains the difference between her speech. He shared several videos that show Britt Barbie speaking normally and compares them to where her speech is “impaired.”

The Tiktoker explains his distaste for the video because he has highly functional autism. “So for her and other people like her to do that for gifs, money, views, and followers is crazy to me,” he said. “People just need to grow up for real.”

Since the popular trend, people have confessed that the song is so catchy that they’ve been singing it continuously but are unsure if she’s faking a disability.

The video has already received over 10 million views and over 3 million likes, while Britt Barbie’s following has grown to over 25k.
