Tiny’s ice grey eyes have been the topic of discussion since she debuted them last week, so much so that she was asked to speak about it yesterday.
Tiny explained that the surgery took about 10 minutes per eye and that doctors cut a slit into her eye and insert the silicone implant. While this isn’t the first I’ve heard of this procedure, I can honestly say that I have yet to hear a positive review on it. The procedure has not been approved in the United States so Tiny had to get it done in Africa, likely Tunisia, where she mentioned being just a couple of weeks ago. All of the cases I have heard of this procedure have lead to women ending up blind or completely dissatisfied with how “fake” the eyes look. As far as Tiny, no complaints from her. “They are ice gray. That’s the color I purchased,” she told ABC News’ Deborah Roberts. She goes on to say, “I looked into the mirror and I was like, ‘They are amazing, I love them.”
As far as T.I.’s thoughts, Tiny says that initially he was against it but he’s cool with it now. “He loves them,” she said. “He’s OK with it as long as I’m healthy and don’t have any problems.” And for those who criticize Tiny says, “I just wanted to do something different. I have the right to do that. It’s my body.”
Tiny got the procedure done at BrightOcular and says that no one has gone blind & their success rate is almost at 100%. Did they tell you that or did you research it yourself, sis? According to doctors a procedure like this comes with potential risks of glaucoma, cataract and corneal problems. Here’s a story about a London woman who traveled to Panama to have the same procedure. Luckily she didn’t end up blind, but her vision deteriorated after the procedure. Read Here. Then there’s a woman who wanted to change her eyes green and is now legally blind. She also had the procedure done in Panama. Read Here.
If Tiny likes it, I love it. But if something is not approved where you live and you have to travel thousands of miles to get a procedure done, chances are you may not need to be getting it done.
