GMA3 host TJ Holmes‘ estranged wife, Marilee Fiebig, has broken her silence on his affair with co-host Amy Robach.
Fiebig’s divorce lawyer, Stephanie Lehman, expressed the mother-of-one’s disappointment and heartbreak.
“During the holiday season and in light of the challenging times, Marilee’s sole focus has remained on the overall best interest of her 9-year-old daughter [Sabine],” Lehman said.
Since the announcement of Holmes’ bombshell affair, the now-single mom has been working on remaining strong for her young child, according to her lawyer.
Holmes filed for divorce in New York City on December 28, 2022.
“To that end T.J.’s lawyer and I have been working together to move their divorce forward privately, expeditiously, and as amicably as possible,” Lehman told a news publication on Wednesday, January 4.
The lawyer continued: “Notwithstanding, we continue to be disappointed by T.J.’s lack of discretion, respect, and sensitivity toward Marilee and the party’s daughter. Marilee has been touched by the outpouring of support and looks forward to a new beginning in this new year.”
Holmes and Robach, who hosted GMA3: What You Need To Know, are both currently suspended, as an investigation has been placed to look into the alleged affairs. Since then, the two have been flaunting their extramarital relationship while embarking on several romantic getaways over the past month since the matter came to light.
While waiting to see where things go next and what ABC will decide to do, the duo has been replaced on the show by a series of different hosts, including Gio Benitez and Janai Norman.
