In a candid interview with Carlos King, former ‘America’s Next Top Model’ contestant Toccara Jones opened up about her past relationship with rap superstar Drake, revealing their intense “sexual chemistry.”
“Isn’t he lover boy?” Jones remarked, referencing Drake’s well-known romantic persona. “He’s a Scorpio and you know what they say about them Scorpios… I’ve dated a few Scorpios because Scorpios and Pisces are actually like soulmates.”
Jones explained that their relationship was intended to stay private until it was unexpectedly revealed by Melyssa Ford in 2020. “No one ever saw us together,” she said. “No one would have actually known that we dated if someone else wouldn’t have brought it out in an interview. It was nothing to see and it would have never been anything to know either.”
When King asked if Drake was upset about Ford’s revelation, Jones dismissed the idea. “Why would he be mad? Of course not. Of course, he wasn’t mad.”
Additionally, Jones explained how she initially met Drake while being a newly single woman.
“I was at a club,” Jones began. “I was at my section having a good time with my girls and stuff. Me and Kaiser had broken up so I was, I guess, newly fresh single. He called me over to his table and had some drinks. We exchanged numbers and stuff and then we just started talking and Facetiming, which I really was a little fan down like ‘Drake is Facetiming me!'”
King also questioned if Jones would ever reconsider rekindling her romantic fling with Drake, to which she promptly replied, “no.” However, Jones did follow up with an explanation of why she wouldn’t spin the block.
“He is a lover boy and you know I just feel like Drake has so many girls,” she explained. “He just got all the girls. He’s a lover boy. It was fun for the moment but I don’t think Drake is a man who’s going to have to want to settle down.
Nevertheless, Jones and Ford have remained friends since discovering they both were romantically involved with Drizzy. During Ford’s podcast, ‘I’m Here For The Food,’ Jones made an appearance on the ‘Chicks Before D*cks’ episode, where the two ladies discussed maintaining their friendship despite dating the same man.
“But I just want to finish it off with saying this: there was no way I was losing my friend to this guy, no matter who the f*ck he was. I was not losing my girlfriend,” Ford said.
