The Chrisleys will leave prison one year earlier than expected, Page Six reported.
Todd and Julie Chrisley were sentenced to 12 and seven years, respectively, and have received some time shaved off of their prison sentences.
Federal prison records obtained by Page Six say that Todd will be released from the Federal Prison Camp Pensacola on Jan. 22, 2033 — which is almost two years before his original 12-year sentence.
Julie is now scheduled for release from the Federal Medical Center Lexington on Oct. 19, 2028, which is 14 months short of her seven-year sentence.
“Without a doubt, Todd and Julie are model incarcerated individuals who received exorbitant sentences. I believe Todd is down to 10 years, and Julie is now at five years,” the couple’s attorney, Jay Surgent told the Insider.
He also expects more time will come off their sentences in the future thanks to new sentencing guidelines in November.
The reality stars were accused of tax evasion and fraud. They were convicted in June 2022 and sentenced to a combined 19 years behind bars five months later.
“This sentencing serves notice that no matter a person’s celebrity status, there are severe consequences for defrauding the American tax system,” James E. Dorsey, the special agent in charge at the IRS Criminal Investigation Atlanta field office, said in a press release after the November 2022 sentencing.
