Todd Chrisley has more than criminal and legal issues, as now his daughter has come forward alleging he and his son Chase have been extorting her in an effort to keep her mouth shut about details in the family’s current tax case.
Lindsie Chrisley filed a police report in Georgia one month before Todd and his wife, Julie, were indicted on tax fraud charges. Lindsie claims her father tried extorting her with a sex tape to get her to lie during her testimony.
Lindsie, who’s estranged from the family, alleges her brother, Chase, and her father were harassing her and threatening her with a sex tape she’s in, which she believes Chase purchased.
In the police report, obtained by TMZ, Lindsie claimed Todd and Chase threatened to release the sex tape if she didn’t lie about a certain “incident.” Sources close to Lindsie say the “incident” was related to her testimony about the tax case.
Sources close to Todd say he is outright denying the allegation, saying there’s no truth to it and Lindsie is lying. Todd also said he and Chase didn’t purchase Lindsie’s sex tape.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ Lindsie’s case in Georgia has been dismissed because the alleged threats and harassment occurred in Tennessee.
And to add to the Chrisley family drama, Chase Chrisley was slapped with a $16,886 tax lien for allegedly refusing to pay taxes on his 2014 income, according to documents obtained by The Blast. The lien reportedly warns Chase that the Internal Revenue Service may seize his property and assets if his debts are satisfied immediately.
