Todrick Hall Slammed For Saying tWitch’s Suicide May Have Been A Result Of Ellen DeGeneres’ Workplace Scandal

Friends of the late Stephen “tWitch” Boss are calling out Todrick Hall for his recent comments that Ellen DeGeneres’ workplace scandal may have played a role in his suicide.

Hall made the statements earlier this week while promoting his new reality show with Page Six. He believes the public calling on the talk show DJ to stop supporting his friend Ellen negatively affected him.

“I don’t know what was going on in his life that may [have led] him to make that decision, but I do understand.”

DeGeneres was accused of creating a toxic work environment while the show was running by several former employees who said they experienced racism and intimidation. tWitch stood by the talk show host’s side despite the allegations.

A source close to tWitch told TMZ that Hall’s statements are extremely negligent and self-serving of him to assume he knows what led to tWitch’s death. They also found it unfortunate that he would make such speculations, especially while promoting his own project.

The outlet learned that tWitch was happy during his time on the Ellen show, noting he had been promoted to co-executive producer in the final season.

He left behind a suicide note that referenced his past challenges. He left behind a wife and three children.
