Tom Brady poked a little fun at those who still believe that Donald Trump was the true winner of the 2020 presidential election during his visit to the White House.
On Tuesday, Brady and the rest of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers met with President Joe Biden to celebrate their Super Bowl win. While giving a speech to the crowd, Brady stated that not many people believed the Bucs could pull off another championship win.
“I think about 40 percent of the people still don’t think we won,” Brady jokes, taking jabs at the 40 percent of Republicans voters who believe Trump won the 2020 presidential election despite numerous recounts.
.@TomBrady with the jokes, showing support towards @JoeBiden
Not a lot of people think we could win, in fact, 40 percent, still don't think we won. You understand that, Mr. President?"

He also reflected on a game against the Chicago Bears during the 2020 season, when people began calling him “Sleepy Tom.” If you recall, former President Donald Trump famously referred to Biden as “Sleepy Joe” while on the campaign trail.
Brady’s comments come as a surprise to some, considering that many thought him to be an avid Trump supporter after a “Make America Great Again” hat was spotted in his locker following a 2016 game.
