Tom Brady To Be Roasted In Forthcoming Netflix Comedy Series

Tom Brady is preparing to get roasted as part of a new Netflix comedy series.

On Tuesday, the streamer announced their forthcoming series, “Greatest Roasts of All Time: GROAT.” Similar to the popular “Comedy Central Roast,” “GROAT” will honor celebrities by making jokes about them all night at the star-studded event. Brady will be at the center of the first round of quips and will serve as executive producer of the special.

“To quote my good friend, Marshawn Lynch … ‘I’m just here so I won’t get fined,'” Brady joked in a press release.

Right now, it is unclear which comedians will poke fun at the quarterback, as the special will not be filmed until 2023 after Brady’s upcoming season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The seven-time SuperBowl champion is slowly securing his post-football career. He recently secured a deal with Fox Sports to take over as Lead Analyst following his retirement. The new position is worth $375 million over ten years. However, no one knows exactly when Brady plans to hang up his cleats for good.

The 43-year-old is a five-time Super Bowl MVP and three-time league MVP. He’s also the oldest player to be named Super Bowl MVP and win a Super Bowl as the starting quarterback.
