Tomi Lahren is taking matters to court after she was suspended indefinitely by The Blaze last month.
Ever since Lahren went on The View and proclaimed that she was not only pro-choice but that conservatives are being hypocritical, she and The Blaze owner, Glenn Beck, haven’t been seeing eye to eye. According to Lahren, Glenn Beck and The Blaze made her life hell leading up to her suspension and eventual firing. She says that the reason for her firing is not listed as one of the grounds for termination in her contract with the company, so she plans to sue.
Lahren’s lawsuit accuses The Blaze of making “a clear attempt to embarrass, humiliate, and undermine [her] reach to her audience on social media and elsewhere.” She’s also trying to regain access to her Facebook account, which has 4.2 million followers. Tomi Lahren says she owns the account, not the company.
The Blaze says that they did not fire Tomi and she’s still being paid, so they don’t understand why she’s suing. They tell TMZ, “It is puzzling than an employee who remains under contract (and is still being paid) has sued us for being fired, especially when we continue to comply fully with the terms of our agreement with her.”
If Tomi weren’t so mean to feminists throughout her career, they probably would have helped her out. Oh well!
