According to reports, Chrisean mistakenly thought she had a performance slot but was abruptly removed from the stage. Feeling frustrated, she reportedly struck backup singer James Wright Chanel in the face.

Conversations erupted on social media, with certain users speculating that Braxton had invited Chrisean for the sake of gaining attention. Lee also joined in with a similar outlook, leading Braxton to respond. In her comeback, Braxton targeted Lee’s history of substance abuse issues, highlighting her past struggles in the public eye.
