“Martin” Star Tommy Ford Dead At 52

We are sad to report that Thomas Mikal Ford , the actor who played “Tommy” in the hit 90’s sitcom MARTIN, has died. He was surrounded by his family in the Atlanta hospital where he had been since Sunday.

 

Tommy, who appeared on MARTIN for all 5 seasons, had recently undergone knee surgery two weeks ago. It’s unknown whether or not his knee surgery is related to his latest hospital visit, however it is reported that the actor had been admitted into the hospital with a ruptured aneurysm in his stomach since October 9. Unfortunately his condition continued to decline and he was placed on life support Wednesday. His family decided to turn off support Wednesday afternoon.

 

Ford was 52 years old. Our prayers are with his friends and family.
