Tony Rock is not here for Will Smith’s new music.
When asked by TMZ how he feels about Based on a True Story, Will’s first album in a decade, Tony didn’t hold back: “Will Smith has an album out and it’s a piece of sh*t and he addresses the Oscars.”
“Everybody keeps telling me to stop talking about it but then he f*cking puts it on a song,” Tony said.
“So that gives me leeway to talk about it again. Album’s trash. I’m just assuming. I haven’t listened to it. I refuse to listen to it.”
And he’s not done.
“This album is probably shtty as fck because I haven’t heard anything about it other than ‘Oh, he addresses your brother.’ If that’s the only selling point, that’s a sh*tty album.”
As you know, Based on a True Story dropped March 28 and features Big Sean, Russ, Joyner Lucas, and Jaden Smith.
Unfortunately, the album didn’t chart. Critics hated it. And Tony Rock’s already calling it a flop.
#WillSmith released his first album in 20 years, “Based on a True Story,” last month to mostly closed ears … the album failed to hit any #Billboard Charts … a new career low!!!
