Tony Rock isn’t letting Will Smith off the hook just yet.
During a recent stand-up set that’s making the rounds online, Chris Rock’s younger brother made it clear he hasn’t forgiven Smith for slapping his brother at the 2022 Oscars.

And in true comedian fashion, he had jokes.
“I have to get Will Smith,” Tony quipped. “I’m just laying low right now. That sht ain’t fcking over. The Oscars right around the corner. We ain’t forget.”
Tony also took a shot at Chris Rock himself, clowning his brother for standing there when Smith came charging. “He stood there like a f*cking lawn jockey,” he joked.
For those living under a rock, the drama went down at the 2022 Academy Awards when Chris Rock cracked a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith’s shaved head, referencing G.I. Jane. Smith stormed the stage and smacked Rock before yelling, “Keep my wife’s name out of your f—ing mouth.”
The moment became one of the most shocking in Oscars history, sparking debates, memes, and headlines for months.
Smith later apologized publicly, but the damage was done. The Academy banned him from the awards show for ten years, and Chris Rock addressed the incident in his Netflix special, Selective Outrage.
While Chris Rock has largely moved on (at least publicly), Tony Rock is still bothered by it. He’s been vocal about his feelings from the start, previously saying that Smith’s apology wasn’t enough. Now, with Oscar season rolling around again, it seems like Tony is making sure nobody forgets.
